The Uncover Michael Jackson's Name Campaign is very excited that our work has finally paid off. We never gave up and that, along with keeping united, is what got us to where we are today and we hope it is what will get you to where you want to be tomorrow. On October 11, 1989, Gardner Street School in LA, California named their school auditorium "Michael Jackson Auditorium" in honor of Michael Jackson who had once attended this school for a short period of time in 1970 when the Jackson family first moved to California.

Gardner Street School had decided to cover the name "Michael Jackson" during the time when child abuse/molestation allegations were made against him in 2003. However, after his acquittal, the cover has not been taken off. And even after his death, no action has been instigated to literally "clear" his name by taking down the plywood boxes
